Holde Agri Invest reports revenues of RON 53 million and EBITDA of RON 4.7 million in the first half of 2026

Holde Agri Invest SA, one of the largest farmland operators in Romania, reports total revenues of RON 53 million in the first half of 2026, down 10% compared to the first six months of 2025, and EBITDA of RON 4.7 million, a decrease of 43%. Revenues include sales of agricultural production from the 2025–2026 agricultural year amounting to RON 6.3 million, work in progress valued at RON 37.5 million, and subsidies for agricultural crops of RON 8.5 million. The Company ended the first six months of 2026 with a net loss of RON 10.5 million, compared to a loss of RON 7 million in the first half of 2025.

In the first six months of the year, Holde operated an area of 15,837 hectares, of which 1,720 hectares were under organic farming, across its five operational nuclei: Rosiori, Frumusani, Videle, Contesti, and Salcia. Harvests from autumn crops for the current agricultural year reached a total volume of 38,744 tons of wheat, rapeseed, barley, two-row barley, and peas. Compared to the previous agricultural year, this volume represents a 42% decrease, mainly driven by the change in the crop mix and the 25% reduction in the area allocated to autumn crops, in accordance with crop rotation requirements.

The 2025–2026 agricultural year has so far benefited from generally favorable weather conditions, in a context in which we changed the crop mix in accordance with crop rotation requirements. We allocated a greater share to spring crops, which influenced both the harvesting schedule and the evolution of revenues in the first half of the year. From a financial perspective, the new crop mix involved lower crop establishment costs and, consequently, a lower value of production in progress recognized in revenues in the first semester. At the same time, the results for the first six months were also affected by lower subsidies and revenues from machinery sales compared to the same period of 2025. Given the seasonality of our activity, the half-year results cannot be extrapolated to the full year. We are at the beginning of the corn and sunflower harvest, and the nine-month report will provide a clearer picture of the contribution of these crops. We are focusing on completing the harvesting campaign and selling agricultural production, alongside preparations for the next agricultural year, aiming to keep field operations on schedule and manage costs carefully,” stated Bogdan Serghiescu, CEO of Holde Agri Invest.

Holde Agri Invest initiated a process of agricultural land consolidation this year, through which it aims to organize field operations more efficiently and reduce pressure on the machinery fleet. At the same time, for conventional crops, the company reduced the quantities of plant protection products used, maintaining treatment effectiveness through detailed analyses of the water used for their application. These measures aim to reduce operating costs and environmental impact.

For the coming period, the company is considering developing an alfalfa cultivation project under both organic and conventional farming, in the context of the increasingly important role of plant protein in the global market. The project aims to grow a source of protein for the livestock sector, with benefits for soil quality and structure as well.

Holde Agri Invest’s shares have been listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange since October 1, 2020, and trade under the ticker symbol HAI.
