Holde Agri Invest reports record production and EBITDA of RON 15 million in 2025

Holde Agri Invest SA, one of the largest farmland operators in Romania, reports total revenues of RON 110.8 million in 2025, up 4% compared to 2024. The company also recorded EBITDA of RON 15 million in 2025, a 331% increase year-on-year, while the net loss decreased by 28% to RON 16.7 million.

2025 represented a year of operational stabilization and financial repositioning for Holde Agri Invest, and the preliminary results confirm that the measures implemented at production, cost, and organizational structure level have generated visible effects, despite an unfavorable market environment. From an operational perspective, 2025 stands out as one of the strong years in the company’s history in terms of agricultural performance and average yields per hectare for both conventional and organic crops. However, the market context remained challenging in 2025, with grain prices (wheat, barley, corn) at levels comparable to those of seven to eight years ago, while operational and financial costs were significantly higher. Regarding the 2025-2026 agricultural year, we adjusted our crop plan structure, placing greater emphasis on autumn crops, which are better adapted to the weather conditions of recent years. We also focused on completing the autumn sowing campaign on time and under optimal conditions, benefiting from a satisfactory level of rainfall in recent months, which creates favorable premises for the new agricultural year,” stated Bogdan Serghiescu, CEO of Holde Agri Invest.

Total production of Holde Agri Invest’s farms in the 2024-2025 agricultural year amounted to 81,232 tonnes, up 58% compared to the previous year, an evolution supported by significantly more favorable weather conditions. Of this volume, 3,811 tonnes represented organic crops, an increase of 41% compared to 2024. At core level, the most significant outputs were generated by Frumușani (21,257 tonnes), Videle (16,310 tonnes), and Salcia (16,112 tonnes). The positive trend was also reflected in the average yield per hectare, with conventional crops reaching 5.41 tonnes/ha, compared to 3.12 tonnes/ha in the 2023-2024 agricultural year, while the average yield of organic crops increased from 1.60 tonnes/ha to 2.21 tonnes/ha in the 2024-2025 agricultural year.

In 2025, Holde Agri Invest operated a total area of 16,029 hectares, of which 1,722 hectares were farmed organically, across the company’s five cores – Roșiori, Frumușani, Videle, Conțești, and Salcia. In the 2024-2025 agricultural year, farms within Holde’s portfolio cultivated, under conventional farming, wheat, rapeseed, sunflower, corn, peas, potatoes, sugar beet, barley, and malting barley, and under organic farming, wheat, peas, and sunflower.

The results achieved in 2025 provide us with a strengthened operational foundation and a more stable financial position compared to the previous year, with a positive evolution of current liquidity and a reduction in the debt ratio, confirming the impact of the cost-efficiency measures implemented. We are therefore confident that 2026 can mark a return to a growth trajectory and a significant improvement in operational results, with higher operating revenues and EBITDA. Together with the management team and our significant shareholders, we remain firmly committed to the company’s long-term development, aiming to consolidate Holde Agri Invest’s position in the agricultural sector and to create sustainable value for all our investors,” stated Iulian Cîrciumaru, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Holde Agri Invest.

For 2026, Holde Agri Invest’s management estimates an improvement in operating performance, with operating revenues of RON 115-120 million and EBITDA of RON 23-27 million, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 20-24%. For this year, the company also plans to operate an area of 15,627 hectares, targeting an EBITDA per hectare of RON 1,500–1,750.

Holde Agri Invest shares have been listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange since October 1, 2020, and are traded under the ticker symbol HAI.
